Effective July 30, 2026
Moat Newsletters ("Moat," "we," "us") is a newsletter studio operated by Clear Not Clever LLC, a Nevada limited liability company. This policy explains what information we collect through moatnewsletters.com (the "Site") and how we use it. By using the Site, you agree to this policy.
Information you give us. When you book a call, email us, or otherwise reach out, we collect what you choose to share - typically your name, email address, company, and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our infrastructure providers may log basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring page. We use analytics to understand how the Site is used.
Scheduling. When you book a call, the booking is handled by a third-party scheduling provider that collects the details you submit to schedule the meeting.
Visitor identification. We use a third-party visitor identification service on the Site. For most visitors it tells us only the company or organization the visit appears to come from. For some visitors in the United States, it can also tell us the name and professional contact details of the individual, matched from data the provider licenses from other sources. We use this to understand which businesses are looking at our services and to follow up. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it. If you would rather we did not hold this, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
When you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to these email addresses. You may opt out of receiving this advertising by visiting https://app.retention.com/optout.
Tag management. We use Google Tag Manager to load the tools described in this policy. Tag Manager itself and the tools it loads may set cookies or read your IP address and browser details. See our Cookie Policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, including anything a visitor identification service told us about you, and you can opt out of non-essential communications at any time. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights. To make a request, email [email protected].
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Site may link to third-party sites and tools we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above.
